Before starting the Yamaha, adjust the air gap. Rotate the flywheel until the raised node is aligned with the pickup/pulser coil. Set the gap as close as possible, but no less than 0.010 inches.

Warning: Risk of electric shock. Disconnect the battery before servicing. Installation should be carried out by a qualified technician to avoid malfunction.
